The Honda brand of motorcycle has been going strong for many years now since the ending of World War 2 and the beginning of a new generation in mass production. Honda not only makes great motorcycles but they are also responsible for making cars plus other household equipment. Since the release of the Honda motorcycles to the rest of the world in the 1960s the boom started off strong and has been going ever since. Honda has quite a few different competitors in the market place however they have held very well against the odds for the last 50 years.
The Honda Racing bikes are one of the more favorite types of bikes and are the ones that sold more often. The first of the racing bikes was introduced in 1961 where it stared to win races against the normal European competitors. The CB 500 was one of the first motorcycles made in Japan to enter the TT racing circuit. Later the CBR range of bikes was released which was one of the original fairing bikes where the fairing was designed to reduce drag of the bike and therefore increase its overall speed. Honda has a wide range of motorcycles including the touring bikes, classics, commuters, mopeds and several others to choose from.

Every industry has a company that is well respected for the products that they make. In the motorcycle industry this is Honda. Although many people may be slightly bemused by this (Honda make cars don’t they?) the majority of people who know their stuff about motorcycles are well aware of the quality that comes with every Honda motorcycle produced. The bikes have developed substantially over the years and are much more lightweight and easy to drive. The older motorcycles lacked a lot of the agility and handling ability of their modern counterparts (weighing a ton does little to help you in a scenario such as this) but Honda have managed to refine their techniques and not only produce fast motorbikes, but ones that handle exceptionally well.
In spite of this, the majority of people only use a motorcycle to get from A to B. This is perfectly understandable; there are many people who have no desire to race around a track and only require a bike to transport them to a place of work. In these cases, it is essential that the motorcycle seats are comfortable so that they can be used for a long period of time. Honda have exceptional motorcycle seats that provide stability from grips yet comfort from the padding. Unlike others where you may as well be sat on the motorcycle itself, you can drive for hours and still feel your bum at the end of it! The seats can be picked up very cheaply if they need replacing.

Once you have decided the purpose of your traveling then you can make a more informed decision about the style of Honda that you would like to buy. Touring bikes are best used for long distance travel because they normally have comfortable seats and long range fuel tanks. The Honda Gold Wing is the finest of these touring bikes with all the extras that you need on long journies. Unlike most bikes on the road the Gold Wing comes complete with built in radio that plugs straight into your custom helmets and an airbag for those unfortunate moments.
When speed is the thrill that floats your boat then the Honda Motorcycle company has designed more than a few fast and great looking performance street and sport bikes. The CBR600 is a very popular model delivering super fast off the line speed as well as a high top end speed of over 300 kilometers per hour. The ST1300 model offers the mixture of touring comfort with all the super bike performance that you could wish for.
Many of us like a more rugged adventure such as offroad trail bike riding and motocross fun. Honda motorcycles once again delivers some of the finer quality motorbikes in the industry ranking in the top 3 for trail and road trail machines. With a rugged exterior and the power where it is needed these motorbikes fly through the air as if they were designed in the fashion of a bird. Some of the more extreme motocross riders show us just how high these machines can go as well as how rugged they really are.
Honda motorcycles have been proving themselves reliable and trustworthy for more than 60 years now which is exactly the kind of marketing that keeps them ahead of the rest. Next time you are looking for a new or used motorbike then make sure you test drive a Honda to feel the difference in your ride.

After being around for many decades you will find that the Honda motorcycle is just as popular now as it ever was before. Originally designed as a bike to get around town easily in cities of Japan these Honda style motorized pushbikes were sold all around the country. The popular bikes started to sell in other countries like America, Africa, Europe and Australia so very quickly the Honda motorcycles range became known all around the world. These bikes were so well designed that gold diggers would drive them down deep mines because they had low emissions and the bikes lasted for years and years.
Economy in price as well as for fuel these Honda series of bikes became expansive to cater for everyone who wanted a bike. There were the sports and super sport for those who liked to go fast and then there was the CB series for economical commutating. There were models designed for women in mind and some were made especially for racing or for the police force but no matter what it was that Honda made you could be sure it was quality and affordable.
The proof was in the pudding when it came to the Honda motorcycles which came in all shapes and sizes for everyday users. The only problem was that the motor bikes where often targets for other vehicle drivers because they were invisible to unwatchful eyes. Late in the 1980s the Honda brand of race bikes started to come out in bright greens and yellows or blues which were easier to see than the other darker post war colors.

With the wind in your face and the sound of the Honda motorcycle coming from between your legs there is no better thrill than being out on the open road and traveling the sights in style and comfort. The Honda motorcycles have a great name for themselves with reliable, economical and fairly cheap products that come off the assembly line. It all depends on the style of bike that you prefer which will depend on the benefits that you get.
Because the Honda bikes have been mass produced for around 60 years or longer now these bikes are very reliable and have little faults when coming off the production line. Today there are always spare parts available if you scratch or damage your bike and these parts are always available from the Japanese import wreckers. The latest bikes in the Honda range are all very desirable bikes and the choice is a complicated one. Again this choice will depend on what your style of bike is and what you plan to use your bike for. Sports for speed and touring for touring or just get yourself a small and economical run about to get you around town.

I still remember my first Honda motorcycles which were the very best bikes I have ever had. The first bike I got was near new in 1994 and was a 1993 model NSR500 which for those of you that don’t know is a street version of the racing bike that has won many motorcycle champion races such as the TT and the Superbike series. The second bike that I brought was a wrecker’s version of the NSR500 because unfortunately I had dropped it going around a fast corner just a little too fast. After a while I was not going so fast anymore because of the bumps and scrapes that I was enduring so in 1999 I decided to change to a completely different style of bike and upgraded to the 1500cc Honda Valkyrie which was the big laid back touring bike that resembled the Harley version only on a Honda.
This Valkyrie was the first version of the high performance tourer and I still have it on my garage though it is not used anymore. After riding this big monster of a bike for six years I decided that again it was time for a change. In 2005 I chose my next bike straight from the catalog. Again I chose a touring bike but one that was not so big because my knee could no longer hold up the weight of a big bike and I was always dropping the Valkyrie when I stopped quickly at sets of lights. The Honda 919 was an uncovered or naked version of the CBR900 which had more appeal to me because there were no fairings. I still ride this bike everywhere I go now and it has always been a reliable vehicle like all the Honda motorcycles I have owned before it.

Honda is a very well know brand today in so many ways. There are the Honda motorcars plus the Honda motorcycles, Honda lawn mowing equipment, gardening equipment and so much more. The Honda motorcycle did stand out from the crowd in so many of its fashionable styles ever since the early 1960s. Honda had not only designed many stylish Honda motorcycles but has also produced some of the best world class motor racing motorbikes. Trial bike, road bike, touring bike or super sports model you could always rely on the magnificent Honda to get you where you wanted to go.
The production of the original Honda motorcycles in Japan started just after the 2nd World War in 1946 as the economy of Japan was struggling to cope after the war. People needed a new means of transport so the Honda company design and start to build light weight Honda motorcycles to transport the masses. It was not until 1949 that a successful model was distributed that was reliable and worthy of Japanese engineering. These Honda motorcycles were known as the Honda Model D or the Dream. In 1958 the Honda 50 was mass produced and is still today one of the most popular selling scooter or 100cc or less motorcycle.
Honda starts it trend of racing bikes in 1961 by coming first in the respected TT motorcycle race. It was in 1969 that Honda motorcycles broke another record when producing the CB range including the CB500 and CB750. The first motorbike with disk brakes and also a limit edition of sand blasted engine casing which are still highly sort after by collectors. The CB range was designed as a touring bike and all round road bike however the CR can out 4 years later to be very competitive motocross Honda motorcycles. The very next year in 1974 the Goldwing 1000cc was unleashed onto the market and is still a widely spread selling bike in 2009 all around the world.
The uprooting of the Honda motorcycles Goldwing production plant was established in 1979 and began movement in 1980. America was now the new home of production for Goldwing Honda motorcycles in Ohio. Perhaps the move was to make Honda motorcycles better competition to the popular Harley Davidson. In 1987 the Honda CBR600 Hurricane begins to be sold to the public. This is the first of many Fairing styled Super bikes to start to be produced in the CBR range. Honda to date is still going strong even in this time of economic uncertainty, Honda motorcycles are still a very popular choice and Honda still makes World Class super bikes.
